No. Brompton electric bikes are all EN15194 compliant. EN15194 specifies that the bike’s safety and safety related performance requirements for the design, assembly and testing of Electrically Power Assisted Cycles (EPAC) are as required when sold in Europe. If anyone, or a third-party company, offers a service whereby they convert a non-electric Brompton bike into an electric bike, it would mean that it is most likely no longer EN15194 compliant, unless that person or company can provide a compliance certificate to state as such.
