Dynamo lighting is a great upgrade for any Brompton, it is reliable, durable, convenient and more environmentally friendly than battery alternatives. It produces approx. 25 lumens of power, and it offers low weight, low rolling resistance and high efficiency.

The SP SV8 is a small, lightweight dynamo hub - built into the front wheel to provide the power for front and rear lights with only a small weight and rolling resistance penalty over the standard Brompton front wheel, the dynamo has a stand light function, allowing the lights to stay on for 4 minutes after stopping (useful at traffic lights so you are not left in the dark!). The front light is a Busch and Müller Lyt BN Plus- which has a 25Lm output. The rear light is a Spanninga Solo single LED light with a built-in reflector
