Cleverhood - Rainger Cape

With fourteen years of rain experience we took all the feedback from our devoted wearers and created this bold daughter of our original garment, The Urbanaut, our award winning top product. We kept the European style, the passion for modern design and technology and added critical new functionality. 

Keeping our perfect fit adjustable hood and classic thumb loops we did away with our arm holes and changed the overall profile to allow easier arm access. We added transformative arm snaps giving the cape optional "sleeves", a high wind cinch in the back and a generous front pocket with a waterproof zipper and protective flap. 

We kept the most distinctive and well loved feature of the original cape - our heritage fabric that are brilliantly woven with 3m high quality reflective yarns catching the eye of not just the design minded but demanding the attention of oncoming headlights. This makes it a truly standout choice for dark day and night travel. This fabric is stable, substantial, weighing almost double of its lightweight cousin, the Rover 2.0. 

The New Rainger Rain Cape is of course bike ready. It was designed for an urban multi modal lifestyle. On the inside of the garment you will find strong flexible thumb loops in the front and an interior wind cinch that keeps it secure when biking. The tent effect created, gives great coverage of you and your gear (backpack...) and increased air flow so you arrive dry inside and out.
